While specific assignmentswill not be part of the course, guidance from our experiencedinstructor is available, as well as input from other classmates.Students will work on their own individual projects. 50lbs clayis included in the course cost.

Open Studio provides access to the jewelry lab and is designedfor experienced students who have training with the components ofthis specialized classroom. Students work on individual projectsat their own pace, using their own supplies. A Lab Assistant willbe on hand to answer questions. Students must report to the firstclass for orientation.

Advanced Enameling will include instruction in cloisonné (bothopaque and transparent), champlevé, and Limoges. Both cloisonnéand champlevé involve wet packing enamel, while Limoges (we usewatercolor enamel) is a painting technique. This class requiresbasic-intermediate enamel experience. Some materials areprovided.
